About the Products
All wire/metal pieces are tumbled for the best shine and durability possible.
Every item is handmade, therefore there maybe slight variations from the pictures.
Pricing: I try extremely hard to keep my prices fun and affordable:) I want everyone to be able to purchase, enjoy and share these creations. Affordability is always on my mind when designing and buying materials. Please keep in mind, my affordable prices do not diminish from the quality of these items!
What about Tarnishing? My regular "silver colored" jewelry & shawl pins polish and shine like Sterling Silver! All pins, earrings & spoon jewelry will be sent freshly tumbled and polished to a fabulous shine. If it does dull, bring the shine back by simply running it under water w/a dab of dish soap. Dry with a soft cloth. GORGEOUS!!!
I also use a lot of "Anti-Tarnish Plated Wire" in silver, gold, copper, bronze, brass, etc. This wire has a special nylon coating to prevent the metal from tarnishing. It's also waterproof. It easily cleans up with a soft cloth.
Copper Shawl Pins are made from bare copper. They will naturally develop a darkened patina over time. Copper jewelry is coated with a clear laquer to help resist tarnish.
STERLING SILVER & GOLD-FILL ARE AVAILABLE ON MOST ITEMS. Check the descriptions drop down menu. Of course, I can usually do this even if it isn't stated, contact me for an exact price quote first.

The Pin tips:
Please contact me if you desire a sharp pointed tip.
Otherwise Tips and sticks will have a blunt, angled end. They are filed & buffed to help prevent snagging .
The "Shawl Pins I" Category:
Specifically a closure made from two separate pieces. Usually a 'body' and a stick that holds it in place. These are sculpted in wire, metal, glass, stone or clay, sometimes adorned with beads or wooden sticks.
The "Shawl Pins II" Kilt & Fibula Category:
Also Shawl pins, stole pins, capelet pins and Scarf Pins, wrap pins etc. However this is the more traditional style similar to a safety pin (kilt or fibula). Also wire-wrapped and embellished with semi-precious gemstones, Cloisonne or Art glass beads, etc. Usually, from 1.5" to 3" long. I can always adjust size upon request.
The "Shawl Pins Shell" Category:
Another selection of shawl pins, a combination of both prior categories. These pins have their own category because they are some of my most popular, for their beauty and pricing!
Made using high quality antique Sterling silver plated flatware. Each piece is cut, drilled, buffed and tumbled into a unique piece of jewelry. These are easy to clean : dish soap, water & a cloth. They polish up great, just like your silverware at home!!!

How much is shipping? TOP
Shipping starts at only $1.90 for the first item. Each additional item is roughly .50 cents more.
All of RubyVegas' products are shipped USPS (post office). I always automatically ship first class with delivery confirmation. When paying in the shopping cart, you may select Priority mail to upgrade, if you prefer.
I use paypal shipping. This means I print the postage from home through Paypal, using the address you provide. If you pay with paypal, you automatically receive the delivery confimation/ tracking number through your email.
